ADMISSION PROCESS

STEP 1: ADMISSION CONSULTATION

      • Meet with parents, exchange information, and understand the child’s background and parental expectations.
      • Introduce the curriculum and teaching methods.
      • Guide parents on a comprehensive tour of the school premises, including visiting actual classrooms.
      • Assess the child to determine the appropriate class placement. The school’s educational specialists will address any specific concerns or requests from parents (in special cases).
      • Address any parental inquiries and provide instructions for registration and enrollment.

STEP 2: ENROLLMENT + COMPLETING ADMISSION DOCUMENTS

      • Complete the registration process and submit the enrollment fee. The necessary admission documents include:
          • Enrollment form
          • Proof of residence or household registration, along with any authorization documents (if applicable)
          • Child’s psychological information and characteristics
          • Copy of vaccination records
          • Health certificate
          • Certified copy of the child’s birth certificate

STEP 3: PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES

      • Parents must complete tuition fee payment no later than 3 days before the official start of classes. The school will then organize class assignments and allow the child to begin attending promptly.

NOTES FOR A CHILD’S INITIAL SCHOOL ADJUSTMENT

  1. Time for the child to adapt to the classroom: approximately 2 – 3 weeks.
    • Parents should discuss in detail the child’s eating and sleeping habits with the homeroom teacher (GVCN). This will help the teacher approach the child effectively and assist them in quickly adapting to the new environment (including eating, sleeping, and other specific needs).
    • The adaptation period may vary depending on each child’s personality, and it could be slightly shorter or longer. However, what matters most is that all children will adapt, learn, and develop well at Little Rose Kindergarten.
    • This is the most challenging stage for both the child and parents. Therefore, the school greatly appreciates parents’ patience and cooperation in helping the child integrate and thrive at school.
  1. During the initial period of adapting to a new environment, children may exhibit the following signs and phenomena:
    • Frequent crying: Teachers in the classroom always provide comfort, support, and care to minimize crying. Young children who start school in the first few days may cry a lot, refuse to attend, and during sleep, they might startle or cry. Weight loss may occur due to unfamiliarity with the school’s food or respiratory and digestive illnesses.
    • Reluctance to eat and drink: Gradually, as children become familiar with their teachers, classmates, and the school environment, they will receive care and develop the habit of eating at the right time with proper nutrition. Teachers will encourage them to eat as well as possible. In the first month of school, children may lose around 0.1 – 0.2 kg due to limited food intake. However, from the second month onward, they will consistently grow in both weight and height.
    • Respiratory and digestive issues: Some children who cry frequently may experience mild throat inflammation, coughing, or runny noses. Others may have digestive disorders because they haven’t adapted to the school’s food. However, over time, everything will stabilize, and exposure to the new environment will gradually strengthen their immune system. After 3 – 6 months of attending school, children will be healthier, experience fewer illnesses, and become more active.
    • Yearning for home and increased attachment to parents: Although children enjoy school and receive attention there, when they return home after a day away from their parents, they may feel homesick and exhibit the mentioned behaviors. Parents should engage in additional conversations with their children, provide comfort, and encourage them to attend school consistently.

A DAY AT SCHOOL FOR THE CHILDREN

In addition to educational activities, the school always emphasizes a caring and attentive regime, along with the most balanced and appropriate nutrition, to ensure the comprehensive development of children. To guarantee a communication channel about the children’s learning process and activities, the school sends information to parents regarding the children’s study schedule and daily routine (for reference) at the school. Consequently, parents can monitor a general timetable that outlines a typical day for the preschoolers at the school as follow
